McKenzie Method in New Braunfels: A Movement-Based Plan That Starts With Assessment
An active, assessment-first approach for back, neck, and extremity symptoms—focused on understanding your movement response and building skills you can use between visits.
A thoughtful next step
The McKenzie Method, also called Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), is a structured approach to musculoskeletal assessment and self-management. It looks at how symptoms and movement change with repeated movements, sustained positions, and daily activity. At FeelFit, we use the assessment process to decide whether this approach fits your presentation and, if it does, build an active plan around your response—not a generic set of exercises.
- Back, neck, arm, or leg symptoms that keep returning and leave you unsure which movements are helpful and which make things worse.
- Feeling dependent on appointments, medication, or passive treatments because you have not been given a clear plan to use on your own.
- Pain or stiffness that changes with sitting, standing, bending, reaching, walking, or other everyday positions and activities.
